SYKESVILLE - The 2017 Sykesville Ag & Youth Fair kicked off Monday.
Wednesday's events included the horse show, where riders participating in the Pleasure Pairs had to match their horses' stride.
Officials said about 45 riders are competing.
Fairgoers can find the winners of each contest, including the vegetables, quilts, baked goods, flowers and arts and crafts, in the Grange Building all week.
"We love the community but also all the people who participate, from concessionaires to those who volunteer," said entry coordinator Maria Zaffuto. "We always say it's our family reunion because we love to get together and put this on for our community."
The fair also features the “Close Encounters of the Exotic Kind” Lion and Tiger Show, the “Wolves of the World” show and the “Team Zoom Canine Entertainment” show.
