Air Quality Alerts were issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday for the majority of West-Central Pennsylvania. What this means is, air pollution concentrations within our region are unhealthy for all groups.

The general public may experience mild health effects such as headaches, irritated eyes, fatigue, and coughing. While members of sensitive groups may experience more serious health effects such as chest pains, and asthma attacks.

Everyone, including pets, should limit outdoor activity and stay inside while these alerts are in effect.
