SOMERSET CO, Pa (WJAC) — Despite some rain on Friday, Somerset County and the September 11th National Memorial Trail Alliance held a ribbon-cutting to celebrate a new section of trail.
The 1.5-mile segment of the 9/11 Trail in Garrett is the first of many that will connect the Great Allegheny Passage to the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville.
Several local and state officials were present for the ceremony, including state Senator Pat Stefano.
