Harrisburg, PA — Governor Tom Wolf’s newly placed restrictions on Pennsylvania’s bars and restaurants are not coming without resistance.
Today, more than 25 restaurants and bar owners including several state lawmakers, including Congressman Scott Perry, Senator Mike Reagan and Representative Greg Rothman, met to discuss what actions they can take against Gov. Wolf's executive order.
"Everybody is willing to work with the Governor. But they're not willing to have their livelihoods stripped from them unilaterally without any explanation and without compensation that's the right as an American," said Scott Perry (R) 10th District.

Earlier this week, the governor issued new restrictions that require bars and restaurants to operate at 25 percent capacity, citing that a rise in COVID-19 cases in the state were due to these businesses.
Matt Flinchbaugh, the owner of Flinchy's Restaurant, Bar and Deck in Camp Hill, also helped to organize the event.
"I've worked 20 years to get to this point. 2019 was the best year I ever had. And now this 2020 has been the worst year and maybe my last year, that's my fear," said Flinchbaugh.
