Pittsburgh (WJAC) — Pittsburgh Penguins veteran defenseman Kris Letang returned to practice Thursday, just ten days after suffering a stroke.
The team announced last week that Letang would be "out indefinitely" after suffering his second stroke on Monday, Nov. 28th.
"Kris reported symptoms to the training staff and was immediately taken to the hospital for testing," said GM Ron Hextall.
Letang previously missed playing time in 2014 after suffering a stroke.
Medical testing revealed that he had been born with a small hole in the wall of his heart, which reportedly caused the initial stroke eight years ago.
