Authorities with the Department of Justice say a State College man was found guilty Wednesday on charges related to the January 6th Capitol riot in Washington D.C. Investigators say 28-year-old Brian Gunderson was found guilty of obstructing an official proceeding and assaulting, resisting or impeding law enforcement. Authorities say Gunderson is accused of "joining a mob of rioters" inside the Parliamentarian’s Office of the building. Steelers QB Pickett undergoes ankle surgery, expected to miss 2-4 weeks

Pittsburgh (WJAC) — According to Pittsburgh Steelers inside reporter Gerry Dulac, quarterback Kenny Pickett reportedly underwent "tightrope" surgery on his ankle Monday morning. Pickett left Sunday's game in the second quarter after injuring his ankle while scrambling towards the goal line on a third down. Following the surgery, Pickett is expected to be out at least two to four weeks, according to reports. However, Dulac reports that the Steelers are hopeful that Pickett can return by month's end.

Weakland Farms in Portage hosts Fall Craft and Vendor Show over the weekend

Portage, Pa. (WJAC) — Weakland Farms in Portage is hosting a Fall Craft and Vendor show Saturday and Sunday to kick off the fall season. About 25 vendors are gathering to sell crafts and food. Visitors can go through a corn maze and take a hay ride, or visit animals, a pumpkin patch, bouncy house, and concession stand. The staff says the farm has been open for 17 years. "You see families coming back here year after year, taking their pictures in the same spot that they've taken it for 17 years, and watching their families grow,"

Blair Co. businesses, Logan Twp FD help package, deliver boxes of food to those in need

BLAIR CO, Pa (WJAC) — Blair County businesses and the Logan Township Volunteer Fire service provided Thanksgiving to residents in need on Saturday. Volunteers say the free boxes of food will help more than 100 people in the community. The firefighters said it's important to help those in need, not just in this season, but year-round as we continue to navigate the COVID landscape. This is the 12th year the fire service has helped package and deliver boxes of food.
