A new flavor of M&M's is in the works and will be available just in time for trick-or-treating: Milk chocolate pumpkin pie.
M&M's shared the coy candy update on Instagram.
A short video starts with an orange M&M topped with whipped cream before the frame changes to show a bag of pumpkin-flavored M&M's. A Jack-o-lantern and two flying bats then emerge on the screen.
"Serving SPOOKY! & M&M'S Milk Chocolate Pumkin' Pie this Halloween," according to the post, which included a ghost emoji.
M&M's shared the post on May 21, with fans clamoring with excitement. Many said they are looking forward to trying the new flavor.
"I wish we could skip summer and head straight into fall," one person wrote.
"Can't wait for this one," another wrote.
Others suggested alternative flavors, including dark chocolate peanut, as well as creamsicle.
Meanwhile, some pointed out autumn is still five months away.
"Bruh can we at least enjoy summer first?"
According to a news release, Mars Wrigley, which is the company that makes M&M's, said the new flavor combines pumpkin spice flavors such as ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice, with a milk chocolate shell.
"As consumers continue to favor seasonal inspired flavors, Mars Wrigley is adding M&M’S Milk Chocolate Pumpkin Pie to its Halloween portfolio. The festive candies feature on-trend pumpkin spice flavors in a milk chocolate shell that delivers the feel-good flavor of fall."
The release also listed other products that will be included in Mars' fall 2024 offerings:
