Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — A Cambria County company is lending a hand to make sure the American Flag stays waving above Johnstown’s Inclined Plane.
Three flags that were above the Inclined Plane are being repaired by seamstresses at Martin-Baker America.
People working on the flags say there are tears on them because of strong winds.
Those involved say they're also going to try and strengthen another flag that had some weaker areas.
Organizers say the flags have become expensive in the last few years, so volunteers are repairing them instead of replacing them.
Officials say the flags came in to get worked on about a week ago.
