A Cambria County beverage distributor and a Somerset County bar are celebrating a successful partnership for a nationwide Halloween fundraising campaign.

Throughout the month of October, the co-owners of New National Hotel & Bar, Robert and Leigh Snyder, held various events and drink specials at their bar in Berlin to raise money for the Coors Light fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

On Wednesday, Inco Beverage announced that the promotion raised a local record $12,500 for the campaign.

Both businesses say they are grateful for the community’s support.

Nationally, since 1992, the Coors Light St. Jude Halloween promotion has raised more than $100 million for the childhood cancer treatment and research center.
