FALLS CREEK - Goodwill Industries of North Central Pennsylvania in Jefferson County launched an online women's thrift store that gives back to the community.

reStitch is located inside the Goodwill facility on Preston Way in Falls Creek.

Ecommerce manager Krisha Oates said reStitch is a one-of-a-kind, online, thrifting experience that features high-end women's fashion.

Oates said Goodwill gets the clothing from Macy's and other retailers, most new with tags.

"We have a bunch of high-end brands such as Michael Kors, INC, Alfani and Levi's," said sales lead Shana Todd.

Todd said the clothing is steamed, measured, photographed and listed online for a discounted purchase.

Every dollar spent on reStitch goes back to the community and helps give people living with disabilities and disadvantages a better chance to succeed.

"Every cent that we bring in, every profited cent goes back to our missions to provide employment, job coaching, life coaching and drivers education," Oates said.

The new store in Falls Creek is one of three reStitch locations in the country, including Wisconsin and Texas.

The store officially launched Thursday and currently as 1,300 women's items available.

Oates said the best time to shop is 6 a.m. when the new items are posted.
