University Park, PA (WJAC) A federal sexual harassment lawsuit filed by a former Penn State fencer against the university has been dismissed. The judge, however, has left the door open for the complainant, Zara Moss, to refile the suit.

A federal sexual harassment lawsuit filed by a former Penn State fencer against the university has been dismissed.

The judge, however, has left the door open for the complainant, Zara Moss, to refile the suit.

Moss claims that suspended fencing coach Wes Glon was abusive to her and other female fencers on the Penn State squad and that the university was in violation of Title IX regulations.

The federal judge said some of Moss’s claims may have merit if presented in a different manner.

This is not the first time that the university's fencing club has faced a lawsuit as multiple former fencers have made similar claims of abuse against the fencing coach.
