CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — This year marks Ebensburg’s 225th Anniversary and locals are ready to celebrate. Starting back in 1997, residents created the annual Homecoming Weekend which takes place in July. This occasion welcomes former residents home with venues and events relevant to the area. Local businesses will also be participating, including the hosting of live music. As of Monday, officials have began preparing for the event with downtown expected to be closed off after 8 P-M this Friday.
