EBENSBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — Authorities responded to a fatal crash along Plank Road in East Carroll Township, according to the Cambria County Coroner's Office.
According to state police, one person was killed.
Authorities say the crash happened along Plank Road near Main Street Monday morning.
According to an initial investigation, state police believe the car hit an embankment while trying to exit Plank Road. The car went airborne and hit a billboard pole, according to state police.
Authorities say one vehicle was involved in the crash, and a second victim was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center for unknown injuries.
According to PA 511, all lanes of Plank Road were closed between Portal Road and Colver Road for several hours.
